Why Students Struggle With A'Math
Many students enter Secondary 3 believing A'Math is simply a harder version of E'Math.
In reality, A'Math introduces a completely different way of thinking. Students are expected to work with abstract concepts, recognise patterns across topics and apply methods independently in unfamiliar situations.
As a result, many students can follow worked examples during lessons but become unsure when faced with examination questions that look different from what they have practised before.
